Not really hating but, I'm doing basic math here, being lvl 35 I need a total of 2784 XP to lvl up not counting the first win of the day of course currently I get an average of 190/210exp per match, if I'm not mistaken that would be 2784/190=15+/- (14,65789. . . .) seeing as as far as I recall the last 3 lvls have always been 810be are you telling me that I'm making 54 BE a match under the new system? (every match has an average game lenght of over 25mins btw) that seems really low, now granted if we put in the first win of the day the math would look something like 2784-400=2384/190=13+/- (12,54736. . . . ) 810/13= 62BE plus a 1 time extra of 50 again I may be wrong but I seem to recall getting over 100IP in some matches with out the first win of the day and even with that I would get +150ip these returns are really bad.

Those number will go down with each lvl up btw because at lvl 35 I need 2784 but lets say at lvl 39 I might need 3000 or even more meaning the BE per match goes down and down untill you are barely making more then 10BE per match, are there any plans to fix this? I know some of the counter arguments are going to be, "you don't need as much BE now bcs there is a chance you get a champ shard and that has a reduced price of 40%" so lets say for agreements sake you are correct a person does get that shard for the champ they wanted a 6300 costing champ hurra we got it but now we got to lvl up a bunch more times and hope the other shards are dupes bcs there is no longer a BE per match reward. . . . . . so a person at 0 BE gets the shard they want they then have to lvl up 3 or 4 more times disenchant those other champs to buy a single one?

But. . . . . . . the chances of it happening are extremely low, since the system is guaranteed 810 BE and more often then not you will be getting those 810BE meaning the low costing champs that you most likely already own and never those big 6300 costing ones so you would need lets see 8108=6480 814=112 matches to buy a 1 6300 cost champ???? going by that it would stand to reason that it's much better time wise to only play x number of matches untill winning 1 and then leaving lol for the day cutting your number of active players down by alot and in doing so cutting the chances of people spending money on the game.

The other argument most likely to be used is "we got rid of the rune system so you no longer have to spend BE on runes" (btw I said rid and not replaced bcs before you had runes and masteries and now you just have masteries with a label saying runes), and the easiest counter argument for that would be "you still have to buy pages that cost 6300 BE each" meaning the biggest spender is still there so yea. . . . but lets not use the easy answer, lets think hard lets say for a fact people now really don't need to spend money on runes so that's alot of BE not being used for them, and under the old system that would be great, after 3/4 months a person would have already bought alot of 6300 costing champs even the shards but under the new system the gains are so low it's like have an imaginary rune store that takes a part of the earnings and all you see is the rest

Now I know I'm looking at the minimum one would get but the minimum is what is what is guaranteed, with anything above it being considered luck. And I'm not sure but I seem to recall reading it might be every 5 or might be every 10 lvls a person has a special lvl up box or something seeing as I didn't get it at lvl 35 I'm guessing it's every 10 lvls and this one has higher reward items (would love a confirmation on this btw) and that one has better rewards. how does that make up for the rest?

I can see where you're coming from but taking the same minimum numbers into account the ip was about 60 so you're only barely getting less that being said with the added bonuses and the other items you get from leveling up and now the be you get from first win of the day you're still playing about the same number of matches regardless.

And I can say that I've had no problem with getting champions I got Zoe when she first came out, got taric since have over 2k blue essence and am deciding what I want to get next with a selection of shards waiting to be made permanent if I want to use them.

I'm sorry but I can't understand where you are coming from with this writing.

But the point is you can't just arbitrarily decided to leave out first win of the day, You can't critique a system when you cut out such a large portion of it from consideration, especially when it appears that the first win of the day is greater than what it was in Influence Points. The system rewards daily play. Whatever, I have things to do but my incomplete study is suggesting at the moment that from a level minimum that I would get less per draft game if I played 14 games straight, but I would get more per game than that if I played 11 over two days, for example. Also, you do get additional things from leveling.

I don't have the time or energy to go through and confirm your math but I can tell you that when the system changed over I received enough blue essence to unlock 5 champs (Trundle, Jinx, Irelia, Malzahar, Vladimir) and got enough essence through the next level up to get another (Jayce). Those 6 champs would have taken me a long time to earn the IP for and unlock so while the climb here out will take possibly SLIGHTLY longer than it did before, I'm way ahead of where I should be in terms of unlocking all of the champs.

It comes down again to:

This is a free to play game. You CAN unlock everything without spending a dime, given enough time. Riot is a business who needs to make money.

They've made it easier to hit level 30 and enter ranked, they've made it easier to content that was otherwise only obtained through paying money.

Stop complaining.

TheArtifacts, I don't even mention rp, I'm only talking about BE, RP from what I know is for skins, and that's where the money should come from in this game, if they made champs be RP only this game wouldn't be here right now or be popular even, looks at awesomenauts >_>, you got enough BE bcs that was a fraction of what you spent on runes, since you first started playing, if the game originally started out with out runes those 6 champs would most likely be 12 or more not sure didn't actually read what the return rates for the runes were. I don't know what content you are talking about that was only obtainable with money cuz if you are refering to cosmetics that's what they are cosmetics not part of the core game, to get to ranked guess you're okay with guys that just played 50 matches and won all of them by luck to go ruin your games. . . . . as a consumer that buys their products I have all the right to complain, seeing as I didn't even touch the fact that money that was spent on hextech boxes lost value over night.

Taeseuk: yea minimum numbers for a lost 20min match would be around that but I was talking about 25m plus matches if I'm not mistaken the minimum exp for a 20min match won is 150exp so those numbers would be even lower, and yea new accounts to get those new items plus brand and some other champ which is great for them but once they reach 30 they enter the same spot as me where value per match goes down, you're probably like me werein a fine spot right now we are not even lvl 40 (I'm guessing?) so the return rates are still okay ish but as we lvl up the exp needed is going to get worse so unless they start doing events and lots of them once we start reaching and this is a guess lvl 50 60 the return rates will be so bad we will likely start a new account cuz it will be easier.

Sona ping: you, you I have to ask if you read what I wrote I also did the math with the first win might be wrong but the value should be around there, and I'm talking about the eventuallity of higher lvls needing lots more exp to lvl where the BE per match go down - but at least you do prove a point, currently it's alot better to play less matches a day bcs of the first win of the day cutting the player base down

Also the part I wanted to confirm was the last thing about a better loot box every 10 lvls the first part was just me talking about BE and what led me to wonder about those loot boxes every 10 lvls
