So you want to climb the ladder?
Stop blaming others, open up some replays of your lost games, and give this a try...
You've lost. So now, start from the end. What just happened... Why did that happen? And what caused that? Why did that happen? Why? What could you have done differently in that moment then? Why is that? And what would have been different if you did that? Interesting....now go back another moment in that game, and repeat this all over again.
Example: Thresh You've lost. So now, start from the end. What just happened... (My nexus blew up...)
Why did that happen? (The enemy team shredded our middle inhibitor, after teaing down the middle tower and marched straight to the nexus. Only teemo was alive, poor guy couldn't do it alone.)
And what caused that? (We just wiped on elder dragon. Teemo got out alive.)
Why did that happen? (Well, Caitlyn went down hella fast so we didn't have enough damage to outplay them.)
Why? (Rengar man...Rengar)
What could you have done differently in that moment then? (I could have flay hooked Rengar off of Caitlyn, maybe even exhausted him.)
Why is that? (Flay would have slowed him down, hook would have stunned him. Exhaust reduces his damage output, giving Caitlyn time to burst him down.)
And what would have been different if you did that? (Caitlyn would have been alive, and she would have loaded tons of bullets into the enemy team. We would have then taken Elder Drag and maybe even a tower or two.)
Interesting....Now go back another moment, and repeat this all over again.
Replace Thresh with any champion, any position, any role. Of course there will be replies such as "teemo was goofing off top lane, caitlyn was mis positioned." Yes, this happens. Believe me I am a bronzie. But there are an infinite numer of situations and circumstances where this applies to YOU ALONE. You can only change YOUR faults. And whats the point of climbing the ladder if we aren't attempting to perfect our own gameplay.
