Rito, it's time to add mechanics to some champions that have been hated for a long time.

Hey what champions are you talking 'bout? I'm talking about mainly about Yi and Teemo because these champions are iconic for their "black and white" skillset. They are basically just spam machines, there is no punishment for bad ability timing and their gameplay is so dull, boring and "non-diverse". Rito has tried to nerf them and tweak them many times but the real problem is in their whole skillset idea - it's old and untouched for years, so a major rework is really needed.

Riot has expressed desire to rework them, but the problem is that, while their kits are dated as fuck...they're still mostly functional, which means they're just not as high a priority as someone like Nunu (who was outdated, a stat check, and useless) is.

Odds are they might get a mini rework at some point in time in the future, maybe about this time next year?

you cant just spam Teemo q and w, you will die. I have Teemo at 250k mastery points and can tell you, he is in a bad spot rn but is not braindead. Properplacement of shrooms, correct timing of q to cancel there autos, and knowing when to W in and out is all super important.

I Dont feel that Teemo needs any rework, I think what he needs his buff, and maybe a micro rework to his w or passive so its more useful. I do have to say his passive is a bit lack luster unless you are cheesing. Teemo

I didn't say they are too strong (but they are in my opinion), I said that their kits are just too boring and one sided (for example teemo - press to increase movement speed, press for enhanced auto attack..). Compare these kits with new champions and you will definetly see some major differences.

You will see a difference because newer champions are overloadng ashell

New champions get a megashitton of abilities which is not why I like teemo, Riot should keep a few easy champions. Garen, Teemo, Yi, and ashe are all like that. They are mostly stat champions and don't really have insane outplay potential. For each of them its not there kit that gives them skill or be a challenge, its the items they use. On garen if I take Righteous Glory I can burst down jhins and peelers fast.

They are stat champions, they don't win based on some crazy dash over wall penta stun and ult, they win by watching their damage hp and mana(not garen), and cooldowns to make smart plays.

Simple kit not = boring Simple kit = easy to use [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Ashe isnt stat check tho and teemo sucks at stat checking

Of all the binary champs you list the 2 that are the most adaptable to game flow... good work making your own post irrelevant.

I don't really understand "adptable to game flow"... My point is that these 2 champions have too "one-sided" skillset. Press something to do something. There is nothing to think about. Let's take Xayah for example. She can root people but only when she properly shoots her feathers and then pull them back. Yasuo can only ult knocked targets. Fiora gets heal from ult only if she kills the target or hits all 4 vitals etc etc. Yi on the other side doesn't have any restriction or some advanced mechanical feature in his skillset. Press to deal true dmg. Press to gapclose. No thinking, just pressing.

I dont really understand your use of... "one sided" if these champs were "too strong" they'd be pick ban in high elo. The truth is they are not because there is alot of counter play to them. The fact that you think their kits are press x to ____ shows that you dont play either of em them enough to know what you are talking about. And this is just a rage post because you get pub stomped by what you think is a simpler champ.

The worst kind of "skilled" player is the one who complains because they lose to an "unskilled" champ.

Dude, I never said that they are too OP. I think you should read my post again. It's not "too op nerf plz", It's more like "too monotonous, plz rework". And about that one sided, I just don't know how to express it, google just told me its like in favour of one side which is definetly not what I wanted to say xdd

Teemo isnt a bad or bland character and he isnt too stat checky, Only reason I want yi reworked is because im tired of him just statchecking me into nonexistence
