Are macros allowed or not?

I just got a new mouse and it allows for the creation of macros. Are using macros in LoL a bannable offense?

I don't believe so. Though they may be prohibited in Tournament play. I don't believe prohibited by the terms of service. Macro's don't interfere with the LoL client itself. It's just key bindings.
