Why can Naut have damage and Leona not?

Flapdragon··4 votes·741 views

Recently Ive been playing support tanks and I've realized how strong Nautilus is when it comes to damage compared to Leona. Playing Naut late game with a little of AP in the build you can almost solo most ADCs but you go in on Leona and its most of the time suicide. I just feel they should give Leonas abilities better scaling, I mean Leona and Naut have pretty similar abilities and can lock down a back line ADC about the same (Leonas Zenith Blade and Nauts Depth Charge). I just feel its kind of unfair that Naut can have so much damage late game and Leona Cant. Leona Nautilus

Thoughts? opinions? Sorry if it looks weird the forum wont let me put in apostrophes

Nautilus is meant to be a solo laner if I'm not mistaken. He just stopped becoming a mainstream top lane pick due to stacking Doran's Rings being taken away,

Nautilus is a man or a metal suit in the image of a man therefore it makes sense from our perspective since human earth men do more damage then us human earth women. ;3 it is simple science. Runeterra follows suit. Plus Leona has two hard cc vs Nautilus one, passive snare I wouldn't call hard cc since you can still cast most spells or drain tank.

Leona has plenty of damage, lol, its all in her pregame itemization and her masteries and such.

Taking fervor of battle with leona is something of a secret op since a Zip (e) can be followed up with an AA Q AA for a decent amount of stacks. All you need is BC and Iceborn and the damage from those on top of the plethora of CC, she's a force to be reckoned with, in the right hands. The reason she doesn't, at first glance, have as much damage as naut is because of her passive, she brings so much damage to her adc that giving her a ton of damage besides the passive would just make her way overtuned and completely unfair to play against.

I know the damage potential, especially early game, but it all fizzles out late game for the most part. I just feel her late game scaling should be better.
