Yeah riot has relatively little influence on the actual requirements of the grades, they just have it rigged up so the top 2% of performances get S+'s, top X% get S, top Y% get S-, and so on.
If theres relatively few players of a champ, but the ones who do play them a lot at a high level, requirements can get pretty crazy.
it's weighed against the scores of every other draven game. if you score high in every area you'll get an S. most importantly you'll have to do even better on some champs to get the same grades as others. If you managed to die 2-3 less times you would have at least an S-
The real issue is that there are way, way, WAY more Draven one-tricks than Tyler1. In fact, iirc, Draven is the most popular one-trick champion in the game simply because he can 3 hit just about anyone in the game with a B.F. Sword and good mechanics. Since we're still not 100% sure what variables go into the scoring, we can't really know for sure.
