Demoting?

Hello! After the provisional games, i got silver 1 with about 70LP. Then i played one game, got in G4 promos and was successfully promoted to g4. After that, i kept getting 31LP per win and losing 9LP per loss. I skipped g3, went G4 71LP > G2 0LP, then played one game and lost it. If it matters, i played with a plat3 premade and other teammates were also plats. At the end of the game i got grade A (again, i dont know if grades on ranked have anything to do with MMR, but if they do, there you go), and didnt lose any LP cos i already was at 0. How many games do i have to lose consecutively to demote?

I think it's 3, but I'm not positive. It's been a long time since I played ranked. But from what I remember, anyway, it gave you at LEAST a couple games (and a demotion warning) before it demoted you. Weird... Maybe it's changed since then.
