My climb from B5 and question for Viktor/Leblanc player

I started league in season 4 I believe because i had a few friends that played. I pretty much only leveled to 30 that season and couldnt believe how long it took getting to 30. I think i got placed Silver 5 and quickly got demoted to Bronze. I played very few games in season 5 but still was reading the updates and new champs in league. I dont remember if i played ranked or not but if I did it was very few.

In season 6 with the announcement of role picking I decided to play ranked again. Mid was always my favorite position and I could JG better then other position. I think i went 7-3 in placement but still got placed bronze 5. Didnt care too much figured I could use the practice. I was actually stuck in bronze quite longer then I initially guessed. I was in B1-B2 for quite a bit and 2 times I was 1 game ayway to get promoted to silver but lost. the second time actually tilted me pretty hard and I played fill and tried many new champs (dont do this in ranked im an idiot). actually droped to Bronze 3.

I took a break and when I came back I made some changes. My champion pool was already pretty smallish but I decided that I would reduce it even more. So I went with 1 champion for mid (viktor) and 1 for jg (Volibear) with 1backup for each but tbh except for a small period where voli was banned a ton I mostly got them.

I had immediate success on voli because well hes not rocket science so I could concentrate more on objectives and helping lanes. Viktor wasnt bad but i was going around 50% win and was struggling agaisnt all assassin type. I still kept at it and actually never banned any assassin becuase I wanted to improve. I became actually quite good at most match up with Viktor and started carrying quite alot of games with him. Im now way more comfortable with him then any character even voli.

Right now im sitting in silver 2 and im climbing pretty steadily. There is 2 match up where I still feel quite hesistant. Yasuo and Leblanc both are very mobile and especially leblanc I feel i can never poke back or trade. It could be that I just faced so few so I dont quite understand the mathc up yet but any tips vs her is appreciated. Even just in general, Leblanc player what would you do against yourself ?

Anyway im not the best player obviously but if you are in bronze and wanna get out my few tips would be reduce your champion pool alot, focus on objectives and play way more safe when behind and adapt your build to the current game not just a build you saw online.

Here some stats/info if anyone care: http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/48386825

good stuff man you figuring it out quicker than most. I got out of bronze fairly quickly when I started trying in ranked but getting past silver took me 2.5 seasons. I was just too stubborn to try and learn new things and limit my champion pool and stick to two roles. Finally got my shit straight over the last year, still only gold 4 but climbing still has been fairly easy. I actually currently have 3 accounts in gold 4 so feel I have mastered the silver/bronze climb. Its a lot more fun when you focus on improving than blaming your teammates for every loss and complaining about "elo hell". Keep doing what your doing and focus on improving a little more and you should be gold in no time. Honestly everything seems so mixed right now I get matched with plat 4 to silver 2 players all the time and I just look at everyone as the same. So its just staying calm and collect each game and focusing on winning.

For Leblanc, know her cooldowns and attack when her Q or W is down. She usually takes ignite so get barrier. If she uses her W on you, drop your stun thing on her previous position if you can, this way she can't go back. I'm no expert at fighting leblanc, I always really struggle vs. her. Same with yasuo t_t

One first step would be to have rune pages for any situation. You fight a heavy Magic Damage bully? Get Magic Resist Glyphs and HP/HP per level seals. Fighting AD champion? Armor Runes are very powerful in the Early game.

Sincerely, my first problem when I started to play ranked was my limited amount of Rune Pages. If you have the same problem, it would be better to solve it first than getting new champions. If not, not only you, but your whole team is in disadvantage.
