Remake Should Be Reformed: My Idea
As many people could attest to, /remake hasn't been as useful as it could be. Not too long ago, I personally had a very bad experience with /remake where the person in question would continue to disconnect and reconnect, never leaving spawn until eventually, the enemy team scored a first blood. They then proceeded to play the game as normal, about 5 minutes behind the rest of the team, where they performed horribly because of lack of XP. I don't believe they meant to have problems/ cause problems, but a /remake should have been possible.
This definitely needs some work.
What **I **suggest isn't perfect, but it gets rid of the people that have legitimate connection problems or game configuration issues that put the entire team at a deficit; /remake should be corrected to not leaving spawn for 90 seconds, removing the entire 'AFK/Disconnected for 90s', but remakes should still only be possible at 3:00+ and without a first blood just like before. This prevents people that can 'reconnect' just enough to enter the game but not actually play from ruining the game for the rest of the team.
This new method is not perfect, but I believe that it could be a valid reform to at least remove the people that are unintentionally causing problems. This method does not prevent people from merely stepping out of spawn and stepping in, I'm not sure what can actually be done about that.
Of course, this is open for criticism, and suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of this idea.
