Despite it being arguably the crappiest game mode, I suppose game mode equality could be a thing.

It's also arguably the best game mode.
Riot probably couldn't figure out how to apply TBDraft to Dominion. Choosing two positions doesn't really make sense when there are only two positions to choose from.
Moreover, there's the small problem that Riot killed Dominion draft queue years ago. It never recovered after that "no dodge penalty" bug lasted months and forced everyone to blind pick.
Rito forgots that dominion still exists.
I find people getting "incredibly upset" over a style of choosing characters in a game mode for a free game "incredibly upsetting".
