REMOVE SURRENDERING

I believe surrendering should totally be removed from this game... or even allow people who dont wanna ever give up, the option of voting to turn it on or off before the game starts.

What a great idea!!

Nothing like being held hostage in a game that's an obvious loss by the "never give up" guy. I mean, it's no big deal, because people that don't want to play just won't, they'll walk around in circles in the base (to avoid afk detection) or simply sit in an unoccupied lane and meaninglessly farm while the base gets taken, so you do whatever you like there, pumpkin.

You already have the option to avoid surrendering, it's called playing with a premade that doesn't surrender.

So if opponent is stomping you and dont wanna end , but just wants to farm you for KDA and pentas, you have no way out?

I'm on the fence. I'm in support of no surrenders, but Archerno1 makes a valid point: A trolling duo CAN trap you into a perpetual never ending game, especially if they queue at the same exact time as a duo they are fixing matches with on the other team.

I think the pro surrender attitude of the current community is more toxic than anything else, even verbal, and that we need to retrain them to just play games out, but this is probably not the answer.

You could always move back surrenders to 40 minutes (a Reasonable time for one), so that in effect, most games never get to that point where they are used, so that possible recoveries can happen and players don't expect that 15-20 minute crutch, to dampen the effect, but there needs to be an option at some point.

60% of all games in challenger end on surrenders. Challenger games also have an average of around 26 minutes. With out surrender "Open Mid" would become a standard and riot would be forced to remove "inting" from report reasoning if they do not want to get rid of most their challenger players
