I hate it when there's only 1 or 2 LPs left until promos
The system should either round this up, or the remaining lps should carry over and give you an automatic free win when you enter the promos so that it's fair.

On the other hand, let's say you have 99 LP. One win gets you into promos. While you only got 1 LP for that game, your hidden MMR still increased by the normal amount. Now, when you get into the next division, you will get more LP per win because your MMR is higher than it should be, cause of that game.

Won't work, people will just complain when they reach 98 lp, and then 97, and so on.

At best, the lp should "stay" and not be wasted because of a hard cap so a loss won't dent you as hard. Not only is it ridiculous to give people one free win, it isn't practical. Obviously, there would have to be a set amount of "extra" lp you would have for that one free win, which would result in the same situation with players being a small amount of lp away from the set amount and complaining about it.
"Round up" as in you just need 98 lp or so to reach a promo instead of the logical 100. And then people complain that there's only 1 or 2 lp left until they reach 98lp, so we start rounding up from 96 and it just goes on.
You're gonna miss points, live with it.
