GP's W removes all disabling moves. It would seem to me that Kled's leash is very disabling. Thoughts on this??

Not "disabling moves", it's "disabling effects"; that's significant.

In the client, on the website and in champion select the ability reads "Eats citrus to cure crowd control effects and restore Health." Crowd control is disabling effects so that makes sense. In game, and also on the website, it reads "Gangplank consumes a large quantity of citrus fruit, curing all disabling effects and healing him for...". The tether from Kled's rope is not a disabling effect from an ability, it is the ability. So it is not removed by oranges just like Fiddlestick's Drain tether or Tristana's Explosive Charge.

Now to be fair, that does make sense if Gangplank's Remove Scurvy was an effect that removed all debuffs, in which case it should remove Kled's rope, but that would be a change to it's current functionality.

Oranges remove CC effects, rope doesn't cause CC. If it could cleanse Kled rope, it could cleanse any other tether with CC at the end, like Karma and LeBlanc.

it will only remove the cc effect afterwards
