How to find your main?

This has been bewildering me since I first began playing league, I’ve found that to get better and to be more efficient at the game it is best to play a champion you know best. My issue at the moment is that I can’t seem to find one, most folks can find a champion that comes sort of ‘natural’ or ‘feels right’ but I’ve had very little luck in doing so. I always try the rotation champs, but so far I’ve had very little luck, though I’ve been on and off again with league picking it up again in the past few months. Any clue how I could find my main?

As far as playstyle I enjoy an aggressive tanky playstyle in almost every rpg I play, I like to be on the front line able to hold my own. I enjoy being on the top lane most of all mostly because it generally feels comfortable to me despite how poorly I play it as my stats may tell. I’ve tried a few champs so far, but I can’t seem to find that ‘right’ feeling. Any tips would be appreciated, thank you very much in advance.
