So I'm in Diamond V right now and I have 32 more wins than losses. When I play a game and win I only get 14LP, but lose 32LP for a loss. I googled and found out that it was probably because my MMR is lower than my league. I wonder what caused my low MMR. Also recently I have been duo-ing with a friend who is in Platinum III. Was it the reason why my MMR dropped down?
MalaceX2 votesMost likely, yes. If you play without someone who isn't in your tier and you lose, it will affect the highest players account more since not all people you will be matched with will be on your or your duo partner's level in matchmaking.
ZergReap2 votesIt could be that, I did something similar. I was silver 2 duo with bronze 1. Together, I got to gold 3 and he went to silver 3, but my MMR was considered low for gold 3.

just type in your name and hit check MMR. It might not work if you have only duo games because it wants solo queue, but if it does you can refresh after every ranked game to see about how much MMR you won or lost.
