Elo Hell

I am currently in Bronze 2. I am wondering how to climb out of bronze and into silver or gold. I mostly solo q and it never seems to workout. I either have toxic players on my team who give up; or people who seem to be constantly feeding(not having a bad game) ... what would you recommend me to do to get out of this elo. I am open to many suggestions... Champions to play, Strategies, ect...

Keep playing and learning the game. You have a long way to go. Me too (Silver 4). Perhaps focus on your primary and secondary roles, and pick a few champions to get really good at. Watch streams or high rank games in the client, read guides, ask questions and consider answers, give answers and consider replies. I suppose never think that you are the best.

First thing is first. ELO hell does not exist. The better players will always climb. No, you can't win every game, but you will start winning more than losing if you focus on what you can do better. Everyone has games with team mates who are feeding, but some of them are still winnable by playing smart.

Second, you play waaayyyyy too many different champs. Pick 2 roles and pick 3 champions for each role. Learn them inside and out. Avoid flavor of the month champions as they are most likely to be nerfed sooner rather than later which leaves you back at square 1. Some good champs that rarely receive any relevant buffs or nerfs that can still carry games are:

MonkeyKing Amumu Annie Ekko Fiddlesticks Kennen Lux Velkoz Vi Ahri Blitzcrank Janna MissFortune Sejuani Swain

There are more but thats just off the top of my head.

Avoid high skill cap champions. You don't need to play something crazy like Zed or Azir at your ELO. All that does is handicap yourself. You need to focus on your understanding of the game. Having to play a high skill cap champion just adds more variables that you don't need right now.

Bronze: Play EZ champions who can carry.basics are your best weapon.

Focus on farm. That's the most important mechanic in the game. If I found the shittiest player on the world and got him to cs perfectly, he would probably be g5. They will walk int you and you will kill them. Fight to survive and not to kill necessarily.

Stfu. Your bronze so you know nothing. Also try this command: /muteall. If you fuck up, you will be flammed alot and tilted. Just use pings instead of chat and don't flame. It's not always your teams fault, you also suck. You will have bad games where

you will facepalm. Pick 2 roles and 3chapions for each role and make sure you also have 3 supports. Fucking autofill

The a rune/mastery page for your champions and be sure to copy pros Silver:

Again play strong an EZ champions

Work trading into your cs patterns

Again only use pings

Watch high elo games past the 10 minute Mark

Back after every teamfight/objective

Those are the basic things. That's how you escape. Keep trying and you will climb.

Become a better player by having above-average CSing skills, knowing how to build, staying positive, etc. Your CSing alone is fairly weak; you will need to get better at it to climb.

Learn and play a lane bully or a hard pusher. If you get fed early, or keep pushing down turrets, the enemy might be the ones giving up. So, stop playing Jinx and start playing more Caitlyn and Irelia.

And stop playing Bard support. You need a good team to play him properly, which you won't get. If you have to support, take an aggressive mage if you can play it.

It will be twice as hard to climb solo this season because of dynamic queue. I climbed from bronze 2 to silver 2 EASILY last season as a solo player and this season it took me everything I had to barely get to silver 1 and I am convinced I would've climbed a lot more if solo queue was still the current ranking system.

Hi there! I'm currently Gold 5 (83 lp) but I used to be Silver 5. Don't you worry about your rank right now. Almost everyone has been through what you've been through. I'm sure we've all had our fair share of AFK's , toxic players, int. feeders and also some unfortunate DC's ourselves. We all got annoyed after playing with these people, how could we not? I can't really give advice on how to get better or how to just "get good". It just comes from playing! Also watching a bunch of high elo players can help a ton. Watching LCS streams and other high level streamers can definitely improve. All i can say is to not get disappointed with every loss. A lot of us has been demoted and kicked from series, but we toughed it through and climbed up the ladder. Happy Climbing ~Superior P.S. If you wanted to know what I did to climb. I played Jax jungle and tried to carry my team. 62 games with around 71% win rate.

Thank you all for the given advice. I will take what I was given to me and use it in some raked games. Thanks for the support*[slayer-jinx-catface]*
