LEAVERBUSTER ( ISSUE THAT HAS TO BE SOLVED)

hey guys i was at my promos to plat v, for the first time, and it was the last game in the promo, if i win it , i get to plat, if i lose it , i stay in gold1, and at 10 minutes, the internet in the cafe disconnected, so i went afk for 5 minutes, got back, found that my team are killing them even at 4v5 ! so i came back and after like 5,6 ,7 minutes maybe, we won that easy, and i am sure i got no reports, as soon as i got out of the game i found out that i lost my promo, idk why, like i understand that i got a 5 games 20 minutes ban because i went afk, but i won the last game in my promo, and it says victory at match history! so weird! like yes the ban is legit,but why did u lost me my promo? no reason, they should fix the leaverbuster thing , or at least make ur team vote, wether u deserve to get banned or not, thanks.[sg-shisa]

Are ranked, normal, and co-op games treated differently?

Ranked is treated much more severely than normal when it comes to leavers. Games in which a player is considered a leaver always count as losses for them, even if their team is victorious.

It sucks when you trigger LeaverBuster because of a disconnect you can't control. But given that's not the usual reason for AFKs, you probably want it to stay, even if it occasionally hurts you. Applying LeaverBuster regardless of the reason for the AFK keeps them from happening more often. It's difficult (if not impossible) to conclusively determine whether an AFK was intentional or not.

thats true, but dont you think that they can maybe add some kind of voting ? for the team ? like if the majority voted that the afk was intentional or it affected them and the player should get banned, they vote to ban him , and if not, then they simply dont ! especially that i reconnected way before the game ended, like 6 minutes earlier , not like after it ended and asked for some kind of credit [sg-soraka]
