Help me with League please I suck

OK, so I'm level 24 now and I've been playing semi-casual since August 2018. I've been trying to become better but I constantly feed and I honestly feel bad for my team. I suppose its my curse for starting out playing Teemo , but i can't seem to get a grip on champions. I try to imitate pro plays and my cs isn't even that bad. I think I just can't seem to recognize when i'm overextending or not, and I constantly can't find a way to pay attention to both jungler's and keep either getting ganked or missing ganks. Any advice?

Trying to imitate pro players is not a very good way to start. Instead, focus on the management and micromanagement of the entire game: understanding core gameplay, outfarming and understanding the opposition, building cores and adaptations to everything that is happening.

As much as it sucks to hear, the first step is just to practice. In my opinion, this game has a long learning curve and it takes awhile to get used to because of the vast amount of champions. It will probably take you a full year of playing just to have a grasp on what all 140 champions do.

I would also try to vary your champions and lanes. Play teemo and garen top, play ashe and sivir bot, play yi and malphite jungle, lux and veigar mid. It'll give you more diversity and champion knowledge, as well as game knowledge. The further into the game you get, the more you'll learn your playstyle and eventually choose a primary role.

I would also stress CSing. Remember that perfect CS is your goal every game, and that is 10 CS per minute, or 100 CS every 10 minutes. This may seem impossible for a newer player, but I promise with consistent practicing you'll get there.

Good luck on the rift!

wanna play a few norms together? im no expert myself, but i might be able to help you learn

also imitating pros isn't the best thing too do. remember that they actually know why they're doing what they're doing, and copying them wont actually help your understanding very much, because you dont necessarily know the underlying reason, and therefore when to pull the same strat.

Watching NEACE's old League guide videos (8> months) might help you out a bit

This game has a pretty steep learning curve at the start and it can take many months to reach a level where you're starting to understand and get comfortable with certain champions and strategies.

Add me if you like. I'm always willing to play some normals (I also have a low level account) and I can probably provide you with some decent feedback if you want.

hi i remember when i had to face Ekko mid and he 3 hit ohko me at level 1 if i recall any way, if youve survived your first fav champ nerf and are now returning -- good for you if not, whoops with that aside

general rules of thumb i follow

2k gold bracket @ 10:00 goal 1 : fewest core items @ 10:00 10/0/10 in casual 20/0/20 in competitive when in doubt scorebuild when in doubt make the play never exceed 1 death per minute (includes team) breathe wiggle blink think between deaths never talk trash always complement (dont worry for freebies talk is cheap) break up losing streaks with bots and serves as warmup never playtest in normals or ranked // thats just rude

i could go on but you get the picture for right now you want to get to feel the roles and roster // unfortunately its a play all the champs game dont worry so much about technique master the flow of combat ---the whys i noticed you already have a few champs but primarily playTeemo

gl <----see what i did there goodday
