MF going to get nerfed soon?

55% Winrate with a 12 % playrate both in op.gg and Champion.gg. 2nd to Ezreal in terms of win rates.

Has a very oppressive laning phase. With her Double Up and Make it Rain combined with Aery/Comet (with Scorch as the icing to the cake) can chunk the enemy lanes with relative ease making them go back to base and lose minion waves.

Has a very good synergy with kill supports like Leona, Alistar and even mage supports like Karma and Sona.

She is also a contested pick right now in competitive play(KeSPA Cup 2017). They flex her sometimes as support but still builds lethality as her items after finishing her sightstone.

MF is indeed strong right now, I'm wondering if she's too strong enough to get the nerf hammer. Thoughts?

Everyone makes jokes about how MF is a worthless pick, until shes not and then they beg for nerfs.

She still has the same lack of mobility/ Hard CC/ bonus AA range/ Options that other ADC currently enjoy. Her single target sustained continues to be comparatively lower than the rest of her class due to love taps mechanics and her lack of base and scaling AD.

Her weaknesses are clear and exploitable, unlike many other champs.

She's strong with the runes. Lethality buffs helped carrying over to preseason. (I for one never ran lethality runes, just standard mr glyphs, armor seals and marks/quints of attack damage, which in return netted me 75? AD I believe at level 1 before preseason. Now she can start with 78 going Dorans blade) Now with the passive ardent meta gone, we have chaos. No glyphs of magic resist makes these marksmen weaker to magic damage. We now have more damage on literally everything with no defenses to help. Of course she is going to stomp these late game carries early. She's always been a lane bully. Zyra, velkoz, brand, Sona, karma, Leona... all these champs can now do tons more damage to kill and set the carry back. Our towers fall too fast for these late game carries to try and "reach late game".

I expect downvotes for this, but honestly if lethality is designed for assasins, why are marksmen able to use it? This is essentially making the marksmen an assasin. Why not make lethality Meele only? So that marksmens are forced to go upon their crit build paths.
