Honestly, I'm just kinda curious how other players prefer to set up their mastery pages.
Note: "General pages" can be adjusted slightly before each game; the majority of it (trees, keystones, primary masteries) are just preset.
I set up a new mastery page each game. Especially if it is in Ranked where you get to see who you're up against. There are certain masteries that will help you survive the early game etc.
With the new client the mastery pages are hard to work with; I've deleted all my preset pages and now I set up a new one each game.
I typically have a mastery page associated with a rune page...
like rune page 1 typically goes with mastery page 1 and so on
issue is when I make changes I have to kinda make a lot of updates and changes so sometimes I get lazy and don't keep that way.
but typically I also break it down according to lanes/champs
like 1st few pages are for my top laners, some junglers, and some mids
then supports, and adcs
and the last few might be a special situation setup
A mix between specialised pages (for my mains or champions with unique masteries) and sets of general pages for types of champion + keystone combinations.
I rarely customise them unless it's for a champion that I don't play very often.
