Ever thought about bringing the game on an old patch. Like giving players a game mode or server to let us play on an older patch. Like I would be ready to pay for something like that , like preseason 2 or something. It's a fact that a lot of the old players are leaving or thinking of leaving the game my self included . Something like this would really bring back a lot of the old community back. Do you know how happy people would be to see AP Yi again, or Old Twitch or heck EVEN AP Tristana. A time where meta didn't exist and it was an absolute clown fiesta. inb4 you think you do , but you don't. sorry for retarded english

Nobody would be happy to see AP Yi again.

2)The only reason there wasn't a meta is because of all the people new to the game. There were still metas back in season 1/2.

This would be hard. They can't just revert the game because for example, it would make everybody re-download the old summoner's rift. That's a lot of bandwidth.

They could try to bring old balance to new SR, but making new code work with spaghetti is hella difficult.

Maybe you could take the champion codes from old champs and still have new map

I'm only as recent as season 4 but i would love to go back and carry by playing AP Soraka mid kappa

The problem with a server like that is it would likely be done similar to the PBE, the connection would be terrible, it would be riddled with problems, and it would turn into a massive project that nobody in Riot would really want to deal with.

Also AP Yi can kiss my ass, I never want to see that again.

I'd love to see a featured game mode where the game is reset back to season 1 or 2. You can only pick champions released at that time, items are set back to previous versions, etc.

It would be fun for the limited nostalgia feels, and then it would quickly become holy crap this is broken as a scrambled egg.

I would like this but would I be able find matches with anyone? I mean if I am on patch 5.10, how many other people would be playing 5.10. so maybe bunch everyone together. OH! or make it a rotating game mode! :D make a game mode called like classic summoners rift in which players ca queue up on an older patch of the game. and change the patch every week.

This week, go back to patch 2.3 and play whatever was really strong then. this next week go to patch 5.20 and play the tank meta. I would love this.

I'd only ask for a mode where you could pick both old and new versions of champions. Y'Know for fun and seeing which version people would rather use.

I would like them to add a good patch of an older season in the rotating game mode here and there to mix things up. I would love to get my hands on release xin zhao, release kassadin, dfg fizz and veigar, pre rework sion, feral flare yi and ww, global ult tf, 6 turret donger.
