Changing the 450 IP champions

Hello boards and hopefully Riot employees. I am just looking to make a quick suggestion to change the way new players start when first joining league of legends. Currently Riot has a very unusual way they do the free week champions with new players. Before you hit level 6 you have this "free week" of champions for the NA server that never changes. http://i.imgur.com/A4vXqUy.jpg The free week then changes when your account hits summoner level 6 to be on the normal rotation like everyone else. I doubt I can find the news post Riot had made about it but I believe they said they implemented this into the game to make it easier for newer players to adjust by offering easier champions to get used to. But instead of really helping new players all they have really done is place limitations and handicaps on them. If I was a new player even if I had played some other mobas I would look through who i can play then see lissandra and think she is pretty fun/powerful looking. So I play a few matches with her and possibly lose because of the many smurfs of course but lets not get into that.

Lissandra has a LOT of skill shots as Im sure most people know. So does Lux, Jinx and Varus. So new players have fairly difficult champions to play especially when they are unfamiliar and have not found a right mouse scroll speed and other settings. My idea is to just make the 450 IP champions free on every account then get rid of the free week completely for players pre level 6 so they only have access to the 450 champions that everyone now owns. This way they can get familiar with easier champions and they wont suddenly lose access to them at level 6 <<<<<<<<<<<<<< This is the main point here Riot. You wanted to make it easier for new players but once they hit 6 they are just thrown into a new game all over again unless the champion happens to be on the free week.

I dont really see how this can negatively impact the game in any major ways. No one really needs to get a refund on the 450 champs that most players should already own. And people with pure aram accounts will take a hurting getting some champs them may not like but I think it will make the new players have a better experience.

tl;dr Get rid of the stupid free week Riot has implemented for players pre-level 6 and unlock every 450 ip champ for every player. Get rid of the pre-6 free week and just have 450 champs so new players can learn easier.

I think the new players should be put right away on the "normal" free-to-play list. BUT in the client, should be a readily available quick guide on how to play all the FTP champs. Or just a better tutorial where you don't rush item 3075 as Ashe

I kind of agree, but taking away ALL 450 IP champs and make them free will make buying a new champ look like a really big price for new players. They will feel that they're given a set of champs, but other champs cost AT LEAST 1350 IP (which is a lot for a new player). While currently, they need to spend even more (buying also the 450 IP champs), unlocking those free champs feel like progress, which isn't there when they'd be free. I do think that giving a few free champs would be a good idea, though.

BTW skillshots doesn't necessarily make a champion more difficult. Varus is not really that hard to play, even easier at noob lvls because people also suck at dodging. Ryze on the other hand, who only has one skillshot is many times harder to play and master.
