Just played my first game in a while and encountered many tilting abilities and champions and generally thought to myself, is this even fun anymore. Overall just wanted your guy's opinions on the current state of the game, how much fun you are having with it, and thoughts about all of these reworks and champions that have happened recently.

Don't play any tanks but instead damage dealers as the game snowballs incredibly hard that as a tank you won't be able to complete your 3rdish tank item before every carry has 
etc because kills are like candy on Halloween, given for free!
After every game you'll think you're playing in the NBA or NFL as the scoreboards will read something like 60 total kills in 25 mins. So literally what everyone laughed at Bronze players of being is what every does( kills, fights, fights, fights, kills) 24/7 as CS is honestly not important AT ALL!!!
Why "farm" minions when you get like 3 kills with just a 
(R) when enemies are all above 50% hp?

are honestly the only good "tank" items left. Stacking armor is literally useless with the buff on lethality and HP stacking is useless considering every champion these days has %HP dmg so the more HP you have....... the more damage they'll do to you. + again.
Games are literally 10 mins long so if you think random AFK was bad in the past......it's worse by a mile now because again, this game snowballs early and often.
Riot doesn't understand that with as many deaths/kills is involved with League nowadays that maybe....lowering the death timers would make sense.
For the most part you'll die around the 6 1/2 deaths per game which means you'll spend a good 6-7+ mins per game looking at a grey screen in a new league that games are around the 20 min mark( considering as many kills are involved NA forehead and mental strength is at an all time low.)
Um, if you die/get ganked/get forced out of lane and the enemy is on your tower they not only are getting pressure but also gold from AA'ing a tower. So, lane phase is complete garbage if somewhat behind.
Ranking up is easier than before, so easy that....Riot......invented another division/tier.......but it's easier than before.......by adding again, another division/tier.......um...
You remember "URF"? Well, League of Mortal Kombat Legends is honestly just "URF"
So yeah..
Play a year long cc caster, after 5 mins of "lane phase" just group mid and have a good ole' cross map Summoner's Rift Aram to win the game.

III BAKURYU III 2 votesBecause it doesn't.....in the PAST I would say CS actually somewhat mattered when people had the thought of "late game" in their back of their minds but now, now that kills are given out every 2 secs AKA causing players to tilt to the extreme...CS just isn't as highly regarded as it once was.
Again, why give 2 s$its about CS.....when you can get kills on the reg? Tilt players with horrible KDA's? And overall, create toxicity among such quicker.
Why do you explain so many surrenders? Mainly because people only look at KDA's and not anything else but again, CS these days is a joke. I'm not saying don't ever farm but c'mon.....
Have you ever heard anyone say "GG" because they were down in CS? I haven't.
However, I have heard "GG" when and only when such dies.
You could be farming like a freaking champion around the 11 CSPM but be 0-3-0 and your team will be flaming you all the same....
Also, such aren't "lies" but my own opinion.
Yellfus2 votesYeah I completely agree with the Pyke statement, he is very annoying to play against in the bot lane, and once you hit six he, as a support does more damage than the adc with an execute hook and stun, all dealing substantial damage to you. When hes fed you, as the adc, get nuked by pyke, going 400 miles per hour with ghost blade and his w and then ulted at half health. It's quite tilting.

Not only that but his ult literally tells you when you can delete someone. I just don't get why Riot would introduce such mechanics to the game..
When I win a game I don't say to myself, " What a game....... that was a well deserved win" and vice versa. It's honestly just, "Well, X team had more year long stuns than we did or 100-0 1 click abilities"
IDK..... maybe I'm one of those "Back in my day" kinds of people but d$mn, this game is more like a "Play while taking a S$it" kind of game now. Fun for a game or two but wouldn't want to be in the bathroom for too long.

Yellfus2 votesYeah along with the cc chain that some team comps bring it sometimes feels like you be 14/0 on someone like jarvan, ulti someone, get cc chained by there team for 18 seconds and feel completely useless for the entire game. CC chain I feel makes some games unplayable, and unrewarding. Along with all of the dashes that come along that can casually escape anything. Gets a little annoying.

Season 3 and 4 were best season. Season 6 was ok.

CrazyMonkeyCZ1 votesIn last 3 years, it's pretty much the best state we had(and also compared to like S5 jugg update, S3 assassin meta/BC meta/Warmog meta). I personally prefer when every mistake can be punished unlike in very slow metas where laning phase mistakes are done without any punishment. Dmg is lower compared to S8, almost every champ champ is playable.
Tho game is filled with bugs, vocal minority still dominates and feels like they are the voice of whole community. Some one might say that tanks suck, but I prefer it this way, where you can't just pick tank and negete whole laning phase with no matter what happens comebacking as unkillable meatwall.

Also, keystone were nerfed, so that's one thing. Picking scaling midlaner is straight up better than some early champ in any serious elo, but prove me otherwise. Sustain is better(currupted/timewarp) so anything that isn't lethal is just pointless and unless you make mistake, there isn't many champs that can kill you.
But sure, if we are talking about 10/0 XY or when you get caught by 3 players and die, then dmg is higher than ever.

Dukues1 votesI am actually having fun with this season. I am unsure why, but I am enjoying the game. But I would think for someone picking it up especially if you played it in the past you may not like it. Riot has been updating a lot of champion kits and releasing new champions that are more "modern" which really just means they have a lot of broken abilities and insane mobility. Plus a lot champs have overloaded kits. But if you get used to that and learn to kind of play around them I think the game is still very fun. Hell it fun trying some of those champs out as well. I hate playing verse but I have to admit I do love playing him time to time.
You just have to realize the game is a lot more fast paced than it used to be and champions do more damage now. Tanks aren't really like super tanks anymore just characters that do a lot of damage and can survive a little longer than say assassins or adcs. Tanks more about their cc than anything. Also cc is still fucking huge because now it so easy to group up and kill someone even a second stun is like a death sentence.
Riot has kind of forced more team work on League, which I don't really like because match making can be so random. If you playing with similar skilled players it can be quite fun but it can be difficult if your team is a lot worse than enemy team. They are a few comeback mechanics added back into the game though such as solo bounties. When you hit Tab you can actually see if someone has a bounty on them now. Getting a big shut down on a fed champ can help you out a lot.
But yea Towers are paper, its harder to wave clear these days. Its harder to fight outnumbered so be prepared to follow your team around more than you used to.
The game is still incredibly fun with friends if they not tilters though and even as solo it can be if you go in with the fight mind set. It just..... a lot different than game used to be in the early seasons. I still prefer the early seasons but I honestly actually been having a lot of fun in season 9. Plus the pro scene is more hype these days so feel free to check out worlds this October as it is sure to be pretty damn hype and KR doesn't just auto win everything anymore.
Hope you stick around but I understand if you don't like it. I get pretty annoyed at times but in the end I can't help it I still love League, even if Riot pisses me off more than they use to these days.
