Is Skarner a good champion?

The title.

Is Skarner a good champion or is he completely useless?

I have checked his kit and it seems pretty fun, so i am planning on buying him, but i'm not sure how good he really is.

aight lesson time is he good at counter jungling? yes and no. he is pretty scary if he gets close to you, since they did say he was a juggernaut (aka scary to be near but can be kited) in another factor, he can counter jungle thanks to his spires, but i wouldn't always count on them being up. get cinderhulk into tri-force into whatever you'd like, more tank or more damage whichever playstyle works for you. and look into people playing him, i would reccomend oddone since he likes those tipes of junglers. he's pretty fun to play i would say but he doesn't get a lot of play PLUS. if you wanna play him after the ryze rework goes out, you can always do cheeky "skarner ult into ryze ult to make the enemy appear 5 miles away from where he was originally" stuff

Ty for this information. I will surely buy Skarner, he seems pretty good.

(I have to try the Skarner and Ryze ult thing xD But i think that the ult only works on allies so it may not work...)

it does, i've seen it on youtube, unless they didnt intend for that, but you can pretty much ryze ult anything out, even people who are dead and are reviving with ga

triforce and warriors fits well if your team isn't behind. ibg + cleaver is more consistent.

But is he good outside of that? Can he deal with counterjungling and high damage junglers like Rengar?

He's above average inside his spires. Can he fight Rek'Sai? Yes. Can he fight Lee Sin? Yep, unless outplayed. Can he fight TigerDyr? Fuck no.

Outside his spires he has a hard time fighting anyone until the mid-game. He scales pretty well though, so by 20 minutes he really doesn't need his spires to function.

I love him. I main him now. Last night i played a game went 10/0/4 80ish cs n only got s-. I needed an s for my token tho :(
