Shaco rework?

Iv been playing leage for a while now about 4 to 5 years and it seem some champions recieved heavy nerfs and\or simply need to be tweaked to become viable.Shaco for example usted to be just like what teemo is today his jack the boxes scaled well with his ap but now his boxes dont do much of anything besides help you escape.Why is it that teemo can have about 6 mushrooms at a time that last very long, do massive aoe ap damage, and slows ppl. Whilst shaco can only realy have 3 boxes at a time that qiuckly die do poor ap damage and fears the enemy out of the shooting range anyway. Shaco can be soo much better by simply buffing ap box ratios just a little and making it so that the boxes unstealth when enemy champions step on them instead of when thay get in range that way the boxes can get a few more hits in and maby make the boxes last just a bit longer? Or maby even make it so that he can store his boxes maby three at a time?What do you guys think?

People don't play AP Shaco anymore. So yeah the boxes are useless with no AP. AD Shaco is generally better because he doesn't rely on the box placment. Also you can just counter the boxes with Oracle Alteration

People DO play ap shaco some of the best shoco players play him ap (PinkWard for example). Maby ad is more common but most of the actualy good shaco players play ap as it has more outplay potential.

I'm fairly certain that Shaco is being reworked.

I love to play Shaco. That said, his boxes aren't as plentiful as Teemos shrooms for a couple of reasons:

  1. Shacos primarily a jungler, and he can already clear camps that he has time to set up for with no leash and taking no damage. That's pretty OP at level one. In fact, I believe Shaco can hit level 3 faster than any jungler in game as a result of this.

  2. Shacos boxes are available at level 1. Teemos shrooms are his ult. If you are clever with box placement, you can kill an enemy jungler or laner with boxes at level 1.

Shaco is my favorite jungler to play for fun. I don't play him in ranked because he's the definition of a feast or famine champ, so I agree that he needs rework, but I'd argue that his Ultimate is where the work should be done. His clone is often times useless (I use it to dodge skillshots and to tower dive...occasionally to bait the enemy, but not much else), and in my mind doesn't achieve much in terms of champion uniqueness...LeBlanc has a similar passive that in my mind is far more useful.

I'm pretty positive Shaco isn't getting reworked. Anything being done to Shaco will likely be pretty small in scope, lest they incur the wrath of us Shaco mains.

First of all teemo is also a jungler so im not sure what your arguement is their. Second of all of course i dont expect his boxes to do massive damage like teemos ult shrooms but dont you agree boxes late game do NOTHING and that the chapions literaly feared out of hit range also you can realy only set up boxes once before jungle monsters spawn unless you plan on waiting for its long cooldown 3 times.I would argue that his clone is what makes shaco well... Shaco and the true shaco would be ap as it is more outplay and skill oriented. So his ult compliments him well. Also i would like to know where u heard he was being reworked? If u are refering to the assasin rework iv heard no plans of reworking shaco but i sure hope they do.

I mean...you could make the argument that Teemo is an adc, a support, or a mid also. But he's not really any of those is he? He's a top laner, and an off-meta pick everywhere else.

Yes, I agree that late game the boxes don't do jack shit. If you don't decimate the enemy team before 30 min, there's a good chance you won't win the game.

I think maybe the duration of the fear should scale up late game, but how would you buff that ability? Maybe the answer is a much larger area of effect on the fear...would make him somewhat useful in late game fights.

Also, I would like to see his ultimate create multiple LeBlanc style clones that do no AA damage, but allow Shaco time to escape or just send the enemy team into chaos. That would be awesome for teamfights
