Sadly we aren't able to restore the LP lost from this game as our ranked systems are locked to prevent any possible abuse. I know this wasn’t intentional and you came back to help your team when you had the sudden dc but In ranked games if a player is flagged for being afk they will end up losing LP even if their team wins the game to avoid situations where a player afks and their team does most of the work to get the win. I've had it happen in a few of my own games as well when my internet stopped working in the middle of the night.

It isn’t a perfect system as you can see and if you want to see changes to it I recommend sharing your feedback with our devs on our Boards. Rioters from the development teams frequently check out the Boards to get a feel for what parts of the game players think could be improved on. If you need help with anything else, let me know.

per riot you should probably troll your team if you dc since you will loose lp even if you come back and hard carry for a win. the only equal and balanced thing to do is to troll your team so everyone looses lp equally.

I fail to see how your internet dropping out and causing the D/C is your team's fault, if they had to fight for the win while you left them on the back-foot. I honestly don't understand how you took the "Its not a perfect system" type of comment, that seemed thorough in its own explanation (while not fair, and still frustrating, due to the win/loss LP algorithm and leave rate, understandable), and turned it into the newly-hit puberty "If I can't have her, no one can" mentality?

Sucks for the LP loss tho, sorry man. :(

its simple, while i was gone the top laner fed darius 7 kills in that short timespan, so i came back was able to shut him down turn the game even being 2 levels down on everyone, pass my oponet in farm, hard carry just to loose lp. in what way shape or form is there any reason to have done any of that. it would have been more fair to come back and be like well guys sucks to be all of us.
