season 5 changes - 50 minute games every game?

The idea of early snowballing seems to be dead with the new changes being proposed at the moment. Late game champions will rule the field...and every champion will be forced to be rebalanced to scale hard in the late game if they want the champs to remain viable.

Turret shields? Less global gold (dragon)? Delayed early game? Harder Jungle?

All of these changes contribute to basically making the early game like 80% more pointless.

Personally, I am not a fan. The strategic depth of the game must be preserved. To do this, there have to be a variety of points in the game where different champions can help you actually win the game...and there have to be many different ways to play the game. A 50 minute game every game basically just means that if the champ isn't good at teamfighting in 5v5's late game...or cannot scale, that champion is likely to fail to close the game for you. What do you peoples think?

Heck, no one even likes watching 50 minute games in the LCS. Season 2 was such snore because of this lol. What could riot possibly gain from making games much more painful and pointless till late game? I'm very curious lol. Games become less decided by skill and more so by how alert you remain in late game teamfights lol (have you fallen asleep yet just farming till late game cuz can't snowball leads?)

Turrets are harder to split push but easier to siege and kill as a team.

If anything, it's harder to stall.

Splitpushing was a very instrumental stalling strategy....so yeah. But it was a balanced stalling strategy. Basically, as I said, they have favored the 5v5 teamdeathmatch over every other way of playing. Rip all champions without hard cc and aoe damage.
