Wukong Nerfs in 8.6 from 600k mastery's view

My main point is: Wukong is being gutted, and it is not relative to how the other duskblade champions are getting buffed. Riot has currently been only focusing on improving his late game, when it is his early game that struggles so much in this meta. As a disclaimer, there are changes coming, as noted here, but the current state of the champion on the PBE is deplorable. The main reason is that Wukong, like Khazix or Talon, can easily get two duskblade triggers, so these nerfs profoundly affect his best combos. For example, his classic E+AA+Q: lvl: PBE vs LIVE 6: 383 vs 381 8: 426 vs 450 10: 502 vs 540 <-- live has a lot more midgame power with q 12: 557 vs 593 14: 613 vs 645 16: 680 vs 680 18: 716 vs 717 <-- even by lvl 18

and the combo that makes his lane presence, E+AA+W+AA+Q (two duskblade triggers): lvl: PBE vs LIVE 6: 531 vs 587 8: 613 vs 693 10: 699 vs 776 <-- Very notable so early 12: 791 vs 864 14: 912 vs 942 <-- 912 was probably a miscalculation 16: 990 vs 1051 18: 1036 vs 1156

The above were calculated on a Wukong build of item 1001 item 3147 , which should be seen around levels 6-8

The main thing to notice here is that where the key difference lies around levels 8-14. These are currently the levels where Wukong has his power spike, being able to assassinate players as he gets his item 3142 on top of item 3147 . Without this power spike lethality Wukong is essentially useless throughout the game, leaving only tank/bruiser Wukong (which is ridiculously weak in this meta) and destroying an entire play-style. And the supposed late game buffs do almost nothing but compensate for the duskblade nerfs by level 18, and they even undershoot that. Wukong's weakness right now is his laning phase, because of his lack of range, not so much his late game, although that isn't too strong either. He is strong however in the midgame. On the PBE, it is clear Riot has tried to shift his power to late game, but not only do the mid and early game nerfs crush any hopes of even reaching late, but once he does it is hardly even better than live. These Duskblade nerfs have the potential to finish off one of the most stable champions in League of Legends, all but forcing a rework.

Please Riot, save Wukong MonkeyKing :Every mistake is a lesson.

Well, wukong turned into a "100-0 the adc from stealth" champ which is really unhealthy. Thats his only role and thats the only way he can be played right now. Its repetitive boring and toxic. Duskblade needed nerfs but I think wu needs more help and incentive to build bruiser rather than just compensating him for duskblade. Fix his passive and add more depth to his clone. Add to his base damages and tweak his scalings. Give him more utility. He's only building lethality because the items are strong enough to keep him afloat for the time being and he has a kit of all damage on whats supposed to be a bruiser. Now that the bandaid (duskblade) to his problems is being stripped, it puts the fact that he as a champion needs serious changes out on the spotlight

Completely agree, it sucks so bad, Wukong is turning into one of the worst champions in the game now, you literally cant make 1 mistake in anygame or its over. I made a post here about suggestions, check it out!
