Bronze V to Bronze I and now I'm making my way back to Bronze V

Good afternoon everyone,

So I started playing ranked again this season and after my promogames (8 wins) was I put in Bronze V. I was disapointed but okey i just continue my ranked games. So I was bronze V and it was going well. I won a lot of game and soon I was Bronze IV. I had a winrate of almost 70% for my ranked games when I was Bronze I. At this point it started. I started to lose all my games. I feel like there is a huge difference now between my team and the enemy team. On the way from Bronze V to Bronze I, I was almost never outplayed in lane. Now it's happening more. What also is happening is that I have a good lane-ing fase and my other teammates make bad decisions and plays. I try never to flame my teammates. I communicate with them and I ping them to take objectives. But most of the time they are going solo, don't listen,...

It's really dissapointing and frustrating so I would like to get some tips/ideas to improve myself. I also want to know why there is such a difference between my team and the other one.

Thanks already for your help!

Looking at your recent games your CS per min is good but your deaths are very high and your damage to champions is very low. In a good percentage of your games your kill participation is also low.

There's two possible reasons I can think for this. Chances are it's a combination of the two.

  1. You are mispositioning in team fights which is causing you to be killed early in the fight (which is often combined with low elo teams not knowing how to peel.)

  2. You are not grouping with the team which is resulting in some unfair team fights that you might be able to otherwise win.

I would recommend reviewing your replays using a site like replays.gg and critically analyzing each time you die as well as analyzing you positioning in every battle. Typically if you die that usually means you made a mistake so if you can learn from those mistakes then in the future you will die less which will hopefully allow you to win more games.

Thanks for this one! I gonna check it out right now.

Probably the both reasons are causing it. But whatever I'm going to do this after every match

Could you maybe send me the full hyperlink of it?

It's only showing the match results of 24h ago. Is that normal? :)

Sometimes it takes a while for it to update, other times is up right after the game is done.

Hello, fellow Jinx main! There's a very large skill gap between Bronze 5 and Bronze 1, though the plat+ players will deny it. You're probably in an extreme tilt right now. To get out of it, you need to focus less on your team and more on your own play.

In general, the most important thing to remember when playing ADC is to not die. Looking at your stats, I see you are dying quite a lot. If you want to climb back up, you need to actively attempt to die less. Every game. Don't 1 for 1. Don't face check bushes or river. Ward. Stay with your support. Don't overextend in lane after you have turret. Always try to stay alive. CSing could also use improvements, especially on not-adc champs, but mostly die less.

Thanks for your reply :)

Sometimes I do something and I die because of that and then I'm actually thinking like what the hell am I doing?

I know where I made the mistake then but I mostly don't see it before it happens. Does that make sense?

Good advice. Also, check out your ADC's average KDA; for Jinx in patch 6.11 the average is 8/6/8, so a good goal is to make that your par.

I'd say you should be aiming for less than 3 deaths. There are going to be games where that's just not possible (like when they have Zed), but playing almost the farthest range champion of the safest class should result in very few deaths most of the time. Keep in mind, he's not playing against Diamond players- they won't hit most of their skillshots and their positioning will be terrible.

Just suck it up and keep playing. I play through being tilted because I feel learning from mistakes you're making while tilted only helps your overall game. For a recent example, I went from silver 1 to silver 5 after spending a week climbing to silver 1. I fell fast and hard on a 15 game losing streak but am back to silver 4. It all comes down to how much you are willing to play through the adversity. im back to silver 4 now in promos for 3. Youll always go back and forth a little but the important thing is trying to ride the good waves father than the bad ones take you back.

Get used to it. I play solid support main as Lux, and NOBODY can carry half of these "people" playing in Bronze. I just give up now, once I realize it's a waste of time.... wins aren't worth the frustration and pain anymore.

Here are a few tips:

  • Find your main role that you do well in, don't just sit in one role that you keep dying in. For me I found I climb when I play support in ranked because I'm really good at it.
  • If you get on a losing streak, don't continue playing. You will just tilt yourself and lose more, probably. Take a break, go outside, get some fresh air. Play some ARAM matches then go back in when you are relaxed.
  • Stay positive in games. Be nice to your teammates. Praising them when they do good will help keep their spirits up, and that can lead to more wins because they will want to play better, and so will you.
  • Work on your csing and warding. Don't leave without your support. These things are critical to giving you gold for items and helping you stay alive.

Hey, thanks for your reply!

I don't have 1 specific role I'm good at. For example, I play nasus well, but I'm very bad with riven and so on. I will work on that csing and warding to :)

Your welcome. I suggest working with different champs and roles in normals until you get that one role and you get experience with a lot of champions before you go to ranked with them.

Most people win in streaks and lose in streaks. Probably due to tilt but keep in mind not every game is winnable someone always has to lose. Just make sure you do your best even in those losses and you will definately return back to your steady climb
