You are in Bronze. Players in the Elo (and low silver) have a hard time not feeding sometimes.
In lower Elo, comebacks happen a lot because players make way more mistakes. In higher Elo, mistakes are fewer and players punish opponents with their leads more often.
Sometimes games can be determined at the 10 minute mark in high elo. But we are talking about high platinum or diamond at that point.
Edit: You will have greater success climbing by limiting your roles and your champion pool. You are playing too many champions to effectively climb. If you get good with 2-4 you will climb. You have a lot of games with different champions.

NO, I argue the game is always one sided EVERY game. Same speech: elo boosters, boostees, ragers, etc make every game incredibly one sided. I have never had a gg since last season.

Most of my games on my main account have been relatively even or close. Very rarely do I have huge blowouts in a ranked game.
Even on my smurf, I felt like the games weren't crazy lopsided.
You do have to climb yourself out of lower elo and if you are good enough it is quite easy to carry yourself out.
I think after doing placements on this account after getting gold V last season I was placed in Bronze 1 or 2. I easily got back into mid-silver a few weeks into the season then maybe back into Gold after about a month.
In low elo you HAVE to carry by yourself. Play selfishly with low counterplay champions. The enemy team won't know how to punish the weaknesses of those champions and you'll be able to destroy them.
I recommend playing Renekton or Garen in the Top Lane, Master Yi or Amumu in the Jungle, Annie or Akali in the Mid Lane, Sivir or Jinx as an ADC, and Leona or Sona as a Support.

I have not found this to be the case. More often, it's this "I must solo carry" mindset that causes people to keep taking bad fights because they think they need to be the one to carry. Which leads to feeding harder.
In games where you get fed and carry, great. But if you are playing selfishly, is it really a surprise that your teammates are comparably useless? I played one game...
My team had a singed top who was losing lane and had just spent forever setting up a freeze. He backs. Our master Yi jungle goes top and pushes out the lane. Yeah, he got fed. But now Singed got zoned off of even more farm and was useless all game (we lost, Master Yi blamed others of course, since obviously his high kills, cs, and dmg dealt means he did well).
Instead in low elo (just like mid elo; I haven't played in high elo) identify who is capable of carrying and get them fed. You'll get semi-fed along the way, and now your team has two strong players instead of one.

Uhh. If you have a solo carry mindset and you start feeding, you don't deserve to be higher than the elo you are lmao so that's the problem, not your mindset.
If you cannot solo carry (low elo) then you are roughly around the appropriate skill level so don't try it.. You could climb if you played a more team oriented game though it will be a hard journey (since you aren't significantly better than your elo, consistency isn't as high)
I'm not at all saying solo carrying is the only way to go, I'm just saying (again lol) that if you CAN'T solo carry in an elo, just accept that this is probably your realistic current skill rank. Play more and you will get better. Play a team game and you will develop mechanics which will help you perform better overall.

I finished gold I at the end of S5, I think I could get high Plat (but probably not Diamond) if I played enough ranked. However, I have a hard time solo carrying out of S1.
I don't think I "belong" in S1 since (when I'm not jungling; I suck at jungling) I can make it out of silver with ease (fun fact: I've never been G4; skipped thar division twice). But I don't do it by solo carrying with a greedy playstyle, I do it by getting my skilled allies ahead.
By your logic, no support can climb, because they don't play selfishly. I just don't think that's true.
They fucked up matchmaking ,with dynamic Q.You cant balance matchmaking when you can play with 2-5 friends vs solos. It doesnt work like this.
The game is in such a snowball state now that its really hard to make a comeback unless the enemy makes a mistake.

Yes
this is why champions with high cc damage early in the game are the strongest in solo quere
Everyone makes mistakes every minute, every few seconds. No player is perfect. If you are 'behind' you or someone made a big mistake which your enemy capitalized on. But they will be making many mistakes as well, and you could take advantage of those mistakes as well if you were a good enough player and could not only SEE the mistakes but also have the mechanical skill to do something about it as well as of course, the game knowledge of knowing what to do.
Obviously as you yourself are not perfect either, it's not like you can perfectly capitalize on their mistakes. But don't act like they have to 'make a mistake' when they are making them all the time.
AOE gold for shutdowns, too much damage, too much mobility. Also the death timers are short enough, so even if you ace the enemy team lategame, they will probably be back to defend their base. The map is also small compared to other mobas... No way to comeback unless vs bad players.
When I was stuck in bronze for a long time, I specifically picked champions that made up for my weaknesses and could carry solo. I figured Singed and Vlad were good picks for me since they have good damage, tankiness, aoe damage to boot and basically get to farm for free which I was very poor at. I played ~50 games with each champion then took them into ranked. Went from Bronze to gold solo carrying.
