So can we talk about how stupid it is that INTers and AFKers can completely ruin your game? That is bad enough But when you get demoted and lose LP because of people AFKing, it is kinda bullshit.

Riot obviously has the capabilities of detecting when someone is AFK. Why not make it where nobody but the person who AFKs is punished? Seems like a simple solution.

Let's get one thing straight here, it takes more than a few AFK's for someone to get punished, as the system is trying to see if they are intentionally AFK-ing or not. But lets say that they AFK-ed after giving a few kills because of silly mistakes, then that is unlucky for you and it happens, nothing out of the ordinary. But in my eyes, these are the two things I am thinking right now.

  1. You are salty because you demoted and are trying to find excuses (although it might be legit excuses, hence if Pant really AFK-ed because of mistakes) but just move on.
  2. It's low elo, anything from Iron IV - Platinum I/DIamond IV is what I consider low elo, if I can do it, so can you, I climbed from Iron IV (placements) to Platinum II with only 8 losses.

Overall message of the post, face it, life happens, stop complaining about losing and get good at the game.

The problem is that the system can detect afks, but it cannot detect someone running in circles at spawn. Oftentimes, it won't care. God forbid you tell these players off, though.

Submit the game replay to Support.

I've been screen capping chats and saving replays for any game where someone AFK's for about a month and submitted about 10 different support tickets and made sure to get a response from a human before I let up.

As a community we don't have to accept toxic behavior.
