Suggested Shop Items Are Not Role Aware Unless Jg

There is an epidemic in low ELO right now of people playing certain mages as support ( ) but not buying support items because the shop tells them to buy APC items. So their starting item is doran's ring which is useless if they're not farming. They have no sup gold item so they fall behind. And they'll never buy a sightstone. It's like a guaranteed loss if you get one on your team, especially if the adc rages on them. Without spelltheif's and/or knowledge of what it does, they don't spend their time in lane trying to poke enemy champs for gold and instead often try to "help" the adc farm in hopes of "accidentally" last hitting one on occasion. They're not all trolls. A lot of them are just noobs or casual players who don't pay attention to item stats and just buy what the store suggests for that champ. This is screwed up. The game knows what everyone's assigned role is now, and even if it doesn't it could at least assume they're support if they take exhaust (like it assumes they're jungler when they bring smite). I'm pretty sure the game used to do this in S5 did it not?
