Low ranked wins not calculated in mmr?
As the season ended, and people scurried to get to gold5......I saw a huge increase in very low win players being qued up with the rest of us. I personally am a 3 season verteren with over 200 ranked wins for this past season. Im not suggestingn im good, just that I've put my time in and am experienced in ranked and the experiences you would have. Now my question, why is ranked wins, or total ranked games not calculated or maybe not weighted enough in matchmaking? Multiple times games were lost when one lane completely drops the ball....i.e. a top nasus with 5 ranked wins feeding horribly to a riven or whoever with 100 ranked wins....clearly there is a skill gap. It would seem to me that a players experience level should be more weighted in matchmaking. I dont know how many gold 5 people i saw in the last 2 weeks that had under 20 ranked games played this season. They were placed in low gold at the begining of the season then spent the rest of the time not playing ranked.....
Does this seem unfair to those of us who spent the time grinding away this season? These non experienced ranked players had a significant negative impact on the rest of us. Maybe a more detailed explanation of the matchmaking algorithm would help.
