Katarina needs something

I feel as if katarina is losing a lot of her power. Especially with this new meta. Meta items and champions seem to just leave her in the dust. Items like streraks guage and titanic hydra give both defensive and offensive capabilities making it hard to get the resets. Champions that tend to build these items also come loaded with tons of cc as well. I mean a skarner has well over 3000 hp in the mid game with a lot of shields and damage how is katarina supposed to fare against it. Thats only the jungler. All midlaners have better damage more burst and higher sustain. The only one that i can think of thats worse than her is akali. But I rarely see anyone play her and the people that do often lose. In terms of assassins she gets outclassed by every single one I can think of. Assassins like Zed, Fizz, and even diana or cho gath can get the job better than her. The only time Katarina is viable is if the enemy team picks a bunch of cc'less squishy. But if thats ever the case in this meta you can just pick about anyone and beat them.
