Lost series because I forgot to lock a ban

In my promo series for like the third time, and I am 1 and 1. Queue up for the final game and I am third in line (first to ban). Hovered the champ I wanted to play, then looked at other monitor. Missed the ban timer by a second and instantly got kicked out of promos. This really seems annoying for the player and creates a terrible user experience. Please allow people to miss bans like before, some people strategically forgo bans anyway.

I am not asking for them to give my series back nor did I say it was not my fault. What I do ask however, is for Riot to reevaluate this system in order to make the experience for the player better.

Same happened to me just now. Would be nice if they automatically locked in selected champion.

Riot has evaluated it and decided that since it is hated by about 70% of the player base and causing a lot of frusteration they are going to leave it as it is, to get back for all the bitching people did about wanting a new champ select and then not liking the crap they fed us.

It's amazing to me all the people implying that everything is your fault and you deserve what punishment instead of being creative and coming up with ideas on a way to make the system better. I was queuing just a bit ago, didn't lock in my champ in time and now I get to wait 30 or 40 min or so (not to mention the lp ding). There has got to be a better way. I don't enjoy a video game that punishes me then dictates to me I must wait 30+ minutes simply because I wasn't close enough to my mouse/keyboard to click a button.
