Is teemo shrooms eating shiv proc intended?

Noticed that when I shot teemo's mushrooms my statikk shyv proc was used. Was under the assumption that all wards and pets that had set health bars (IE: zyra thorns, illaoi tentacles, teemo shrooms) weren't supposed to use these charges.

Just thought I'd ask, as this seems inconsistent with other similar object interactions.

It is likely an unintended effect pertaining to the fact that shrooms used to use regular health bars.
