Ranked Queue Broken?

I don't know if this because it is the end of the season, but i noticed a trend in my games recently. I feel like i have been playing against more diamond players in my RANKED games. I have noticed it in flex and solo/duo queues. I have checked my mmr and apparently it is lower than average, so why am i playing against these players just to get stomped, or have my team feed Talon mid and he one shot's me. I understand normal games, but ranked???
