so, his winrate is almost 50%. And yes, the people are complaining that he is overpowered or too strong. In fact he is not too strong, he is just extremely hard to deal with. He is more annoying as an opponent than a LeBlanc or a Yasuo, mostly because he is hard to predict and especially he is able to poke better than both. Additionally he has almost no resources. Energy is very efficient, it regenerates fast enough for a combo every ~10 seconds (w has a higher cooldown).

But with my own experiences I can say that he can be beaten. As a mage you are in an advantage, since Zhonyas costs less. Of course I mean specific mages, I usually play Ahri or LeBlanc because they have the mobility or cc to deal with him effectively.

So the goal of those changes is not to nerf him, he should be a bit harder and less oppressive. One q should do less damage, two q's do slightly more damage (and it needs skill to hit both in the most cases), while three q's do way higher damage, which is okay. He should assassinate people when the player is good enough. The ulti adjusment has been removed, we'll see how it is going when the final patchnotes are out

the terms I have come to about zed: If he ever hits 50% winrate, he has the chance to be the most broken snowballing champion in the game, or crap. And many players don't want to let a zed through and have it come back and bite them. Zed is not broken, but he is still opressive as all hell and unfair in many ways, far from broken.
