Question about the new Ancient Coin

Hey Riot, I love your pbe plans. I am very exicted about the mid-season i can't wait to see the new features on the PBE. But I have a few questions about the new Anicent Coin. Are there some changes for some "exotic" skill orders?

Here are my examples:

1.What happens when Udyr buy ancient coin? Can he skill then 19times or just 18 times like the normal champ? 2. Whats up with Ryze Q when he will be able to skill his Q on max lv?

And a last question:

Aren't you afraid that many not supps will buy this iteam and it will be meta to buy ancient coin first?

I hope nobody else ask this questio nbefore and I hope you read this comment ^^

Still go on with these concept! I am very excited to see the new content that appear on the pbe every cycle!

Udyr will level up the same as any other Champion - Riot said that they only tossed around the possibility of him being able to outlevel other Champions, but decided not to go with it.

As with Ryze - your wording of it is very, very weird. I'm afraid I can't understand what you're asking.

For the non-Supports buying Ancient Coin - I really doubt it will become meta, because the Ancient Coin requires you to let someone else take farm so that you can pick up the resultant Mana/Gold drops.

It's not going to be abused as far as I can tell, since it'd be pretty dumb for non-Supports to give up farm for half as much mana and Gold as they could be getting by playing normally.

Further - Anceint Coin is primarily designed for Supports who aren't really there to poke or take hits; rather, Ancient Coin is there for more actually Support-oriented Support Champions, like Janna, Soraka, or the ever-unlikely healing Sona.

These Champions who, under normal circumstances, won't often see their CS rising or get much in the way of kills (with the exception of Sona), hinging most of their spending budget on Assist Gold. With the Gold and Mana drops from Ancient Coin, as well as the periodic free ability point, these uncommon or ostensibly weaker Utility Supports will likely have a much easier time staying healthy and present in games.

Thx,

to Ryze : He can skill his Q 6 times and I remember a time where this scale option to skill it to lv 6 wasn't so clear So I ask me which impact would this make on AC

It would be much the same as normal - Ryze could opt to put points into his Q up to 6, his W up to 5, his E up to 5, and his R up to 2. So, Ancient Coin and its line of upgrades would have the same impact on Ryze as it would on any other Champion who can take it.

Though, as mentioned earlier, for most champions, Ancient Coin would be pretty counter-intuitive. I hope this helps.
