I think the saddest thing about this game, is riot has no solutions.

Probably sadder than all of the toxicity, inting, and trolling that goes on in this game is the fact that after so many years Riot cannot find an adequate way to deal with it.

Incompetence? Laziness?

It's not incompetence or laziness necessarily, but hubris. They think they know what they're doing and they're absolutely convinced they aren't wrong, despite the reduced revenue and declining playerbase.

The thing is I rarely even find people that are 'competitive' anymore. Literally every game there's typically at least ONE person who says, "I don't care, it's just a game." Obviously it's just a game, but why go into a game and not try? Why not be competitive, and try to win? I'm going to start screenshotting every time someone says it, and make a gallery or something. Cause I hear it so much, and it's like begging for us to yell at them. If you don't want to win, don't play? I don't understand the point in playing a game to not win. It's just like playing Chess, Cards, or any other game... If you don't want to try, and win then just don't play. The game is meant to be competitive.

I mean, you could blame it on incompetence and laziness.

Or you could realize that humans are assholes and will just make new accounts to troll people (F2P or not), and that it's a competitive environment that can, at times, bring out the worst in people.

It honestly isn't that bad compared to other MOBAs. You could compare it to SMITE, which has a fraction of the playerbase League has, while also having an average toxicity of the stereotypical Yasuo main. They have far less people to deal with and it's far worse for them.

My Opinion? If you think they do a horrible job, why don't you walk a few years in their shoes and see this community from the other side.

I'm not a fan of the rabid enforcement of language offenses, but I'm certainly honest enough to recognize.... Riot has to get tens of millions of reports a DAY for activity, and most of them are not really provable situations, or would actually require them to watch every game. Do you honestly think that's what Support does on a daily basis for every single game you play? Do you think they have a staff member for every single 10 players playing?

Reports are automated for a reason. The old discipline used to be Tribunal'd to players for a reason.

What they are trying to do in policing sportsmanship....... is not feasible within a gaming company itself, and never has been.

(Furthermore, attempting to police sportsmanship is only marginally utilitarian towards making revenue. It's an extreme cost driven arm of a gaming company which almost never improves a community)

They have found good solutions. Their solution isn't perfect which is why you still see toxicity and inting in this game, but that doesn't mean there aren't things in place to try to stop it. Stopping people from flaming in chat is quite easy and is why you see people posting on here all the time about being wrongfully chat banned, but inting is a lot harder to detect. For a human, seeing the difference between someone who has had some bad games and someone who is intentionally feeding in all of their games is usually easy. Coding a machine/algorithm to do that as effectively as a human can is extremely difficult. If you have found a foolproof solution to ending all toxicity and inting forever, then by all means post it here.

Edit: The only other post you have made is one about you getting a 14 day ban for being toxic so I'd say the system is already doing it's job well.
