They don't ignore it at all. They DEFINITELY see what goes on 24/7 but from a professional stand point they have to be careful what they reply to and how they reply. In most cases it's easier to sit back and let players think that they're ignoring them and they don't care rather than cause more issues for themselves by trying to argue with them.

If you want riot to reply you need to be non argumentative as possible, have a well written post that has actual a point to it, and show through how your post is written that you're actually there to communicate and bring up a real topic to discuss rather than just throwing out an uninformative uneducated "Riot you suck" post.

You took this too serious. Not really addressing how I said that the community says two contradicting things all the time and no one ever calls it and realizes it.

That's because what the "community" says is primarily mix matched groups of players who lack the facts and knowledge behind the game so they can only see what they understand and think that if it's not going their way then it's the fault of bad design.

If a player loses to fizz but doesn't understand where the fizz did right and they did wrong then fizz is broken. So that then causes them to spam up the gameplay boards with fizz balance posts without them even questioning the possibility of them making a mistake. In the same manner a fizz player might lose to an orianna and without understanding that he made mistakes he can only come to the conclusion that fizz is underpowered so he also goes onto the gameplay boards to make a post about fizz's balance and that's where you get the differing opinions.

The forums are the equivalent of parents just letting their kids have tantrums in their room while they go somewhere else until the child gets tired out. They just let people have their fits online while they go off and do their own thing

Low elo players crying because they can't find teams to carry them to Challenger? Sounds about right lel

and the reason why they should: because some of their own staff said they create games for the gamer by the gamer. hmmm..... false advertising.

It would be stupid to make changes every time a couple dozen people on the forums make a complaint about something that really isn't that big of a deal. If you can't see that, then I don't know what I can do to help. You can't fix stupid..

zacktootall1 votes

then don't listen to the stupid i assume riot is smart enough to do that

They don't. I'm making the argument that a very large majority of ideas found on these forums are stupid.

ok and that is true but maybe instead of blocking it out completely make sense of it think about it figure out the reason for it logic is a useful tool in the creation of anything

A) Only idiots think support is useless/can't carry. They're one of the easiest roles to climb with atm. The issue is that they're often not very interactive compared to other roles, making satisfaction really low, especially if you aren't ahead. That's why people don't like support.

B) New support itemization is definitely overloaded. However, its the current state of runaan's+IE+Warlord's that makes that an even bigger issue than it should be. Generally over-tuned damage in the game right now almost necessitates it, though. The game's heading downhill on that front, and if Riot doesn't do something about it, the game will crash and burn.

C) A lot of posters like you are also the reason they pay relatively little attention to the forums.

Like me? What lol I don't do any of that.

You're twisting examples to make it look like you have a point when you don't.

You are exactly what's wrong with the forums, right along with those you're trying to call out.

What -.- You can literally see Exhibits A and B all over the forums right now. Me calling out the hypocrisy that we all see is what's wrong with the forums. Ooookayyy....

People outside of bronze/silver don't think that you can't carry from support. People complaining that support itemization is too strong actually know what they're talking about to a small degree; much more so if they also think that damage is far too high in the game as well right now.

'Community' doesn't represent everyone. Just because Trump is a racist con-artist doesn't mean everyone in America is now a racist con-artist because he got voted into office. A community is made up of differing opinions and outlooks. That's kinda what forums are about.

How is it hypocrisy if its not the exact same person saying both viewpoints? It doesn't work that way, sorry to inform you. Besides, opinions can change. Hypocrisy would be saying Darius is weak in an attempt to get him buffed while sporting an extremely high win-rate while his average win-rate in all regions/divisions is 60% or something along those lines.
