why cant bards magical journey deal damage....

to any enemy champion that goes through it, or is ANOTHER heal for any teammate that goes through it. maybe even grant movement speed? its such a cool ability but it just feels waaaaaay too plain. in its current state if you are being chased, and both you and the enemy uses it, you dont gain any distance or advantage. it really cant be used defensively. granting movement speed at the minimum would make it feel much more useful as a team and put bard in a little better position. sorry for the jumbled post, my enter keys are unbound xD

The magical journey is way too realistic if it kills people.

Not sure about the "boost for allies" idea though.

What would be really interesting for it, would be if it functioned as a knockback on enemy targets, and would pull them into the portal if it made one.

Also if you could push people into active portals with knockbacks, etc.

well at higher levels allies go through it faster and if enemy team follows its a guaranteed snare with your Q. I would rather see them make his heal be able to debuff the enemy slightly giving him more power with trades in lane. Something like lower enemies armor and magic resist by X% but keep it low so it isnt OP or just have it mark them so his Q does exra dmg and that champ takes extra dmg for 1.5 sec from outside sources. I think that would give him a nice aggressive or passive play-style based on what the player wants.
