How Do I Get Out Of Gold

Here I was gold in S4 and made plat in S6 by doing 1 thing that completely changed the game for me. I played 1 champion over and over and over and became a 1 trick with 1-2 backups. I mained Ekko played him in every lane and now having over 600 games with him I know the champion so well, I know my match ups good and bad against other mid lane champs. once you have a champ down and personal mechanics it is time to develop game knowledge. Know your teams comp and use it to the best of its ability. If the enemy team has a much better Team fight than you ward jungles split push and catch enemies crossing through the jungle to stop your split push or seeing jungle go bot and rush baron. Do not argue with team members on what you should do either state what you think or go along with their plan, because 1 bad plan is still better then 5 good plans and everyone not on the same page. Pay attention to your jungler instead of asking for help he might need help and work with him on invading and defending the jungle. Roam correctly pending on if your lane is pushed or then enemy laner has freezed the lane so instead of setting yourself up for a gank go gank another lane. There is plenty of more and if you look at my rank right now I am Gold 2 100 LP but I was Plat 2, 2 season ago but I took a 15 month hiatus and start playing exactly 1 month ago and placed gold 5 in my placements and will easily reach plat soon. I play Ekko of course and still remembered him mechanically.

One final thing if you have trouble against a certain champion play that champion in normal or a custom and you will find out that champions stengths and weaknesses. if you havent played all the champs start today by playing the champs you have never played like 2-3 per day until you know them all and get a basic idea of how it feels to play them.
