I have 1,226,223 points with elise but its shows it like 1226223 and its little bit annoyin.

Doing it this way means you don't need to adjust your client on a per-country basis. For the given number 1226233 (expressed as a decimal), the following are all valid formats in different countries:

1 226 233,00
1,226,233.00
1.226.233,00

So it could be a bit confusing at times if it were done that way.

it has to do with the difference between international versions

people on the imperial system use Commas while people on the Metric system use periods

you can see how this causes confusion...especially in coding
