League community is pretty grabo

I've just been playing for a while now and the majority of people who are playing this game suck to be honest. Whether it be being toxic (trash-talk, trolling, afk, etc.) or just generally not being good, that being said there are just some things I can't deal with in this game, and I've taken a long break from the game too and I don't like what I've come back to. League just doesn't have a very positive community in-game and overall makes the experience of playing not even fun. Too many times have I just been match with people who either talk a lot of shit or just don't play well and its to the point where I've gone down ranks more than I can climb. I started the season at b3 and got to s2 before taking a break for a while and I had a 62% win rate. I come back and I go from 62% to 49%. I think at this point riot just doesn't like me because I got to my s1 promos and I lost three games in a row for no good reason, people fed hard and complained and the enemies always talked shit. I feel like quitting at this point, the whole game in general, how about you all who read this get a riot employee to see and then ban my account so I have no legitimate reason to even have the client anymore? Thanks, bye.

I find it interesting that you've singled it to League community. Is this the only Online Multiplayer game that you've ever played? I've been playing online for at least a decade longer than LoL has been alive. I'll give you a hint... it is not just LoL. Any online game that can even be remotely viewed as competitive.... has this sort of toxicity. Just not every game maker has had the stance against toxicity that Riot has.

I mean the more players you have in a game, the more toxic players you'll have..... in a game. It's sad statistics.

No, I know that its all games basically but I feel that this game is the only one where it honestly matter. There are plenty of other multiplayer games in which toxicity exists but this game in particular has a problem with it. I think its due to the amount of attention it gets at eSports events. There is an overwhelming number of people out there who seek to be as good as those they watch and when they can't they get frustrated and in turn become toxic. This is true also for CS:GO but not on such a large scale. On top of this if you'd look at other games which have received a lot of attention for their competitive multiplayer such as CoD, the game has dropped off drastically from the eyes of everyone because of the nature of the games now being a joke. No one can honestly play CoD and not think they're wasting their time anymore because the content is remarkable or inventive like it was before, and the eSports platform has shifted from CoD to CS:GO. The toxicity still exists in that game but it is nothing compared to how it was back when Machinima was huge. Every wanted to be the next Hutch or Seananners and would rage when they couldn't be, like we see here. But here in League the community is supposed to be "better" because we have ways to directly punish those who do things that are toxic and when the behavior goes unpunished there is something wrong here. Wouldn't you agree? This is ultimately the flaw with both online games and League, there is no way to justly punish and match people anymore because everyone at this point as probably suffered a ban or something of the sort. This lumps everyone in with the "bad eggs" of league and causes the mess to become worse. On top of that there are the matters of nerfs/buffs that also affect the toxicity of players. So, in short the community sucks cause people do.
