Lethality and ADC

How come lethality builds work well for some adc's like Mrs. Fourtune, but are absolute crap for other adc's?

Because MF is more an ad caster that rathers have burst over dps?

"AD caster" my ass. She just has a bs passive that doesn't make sense and is purely OP and works well with items like item 3147 . She only has 2 spells that you'd call "casting" and one is basically an AA reset.

It's more like, she doesn't super benefit from anything other than flat AD or Crit (she doesn't have a stacking passive like Vayne, Twitch or Varus that'd make her want attack speed), so the pen she gets from lethality is just, currently, more useful than going flat crit with some attack speed-- especially considering as there are few tanks around that she needs to play against.

When lethality was busted, (and it was), MF, Jhin and Varus could get away with it. The real trick for them is their huge range and high damage abilities for casting it that didn't even allow opponents to trade back. The lane bullying side is amplified considering lethality items have an earlier powerspike than any crit builds. Now that crit adcs are weaker til even later, and early-game is king, MF's taken off like a rocket.
