Initial Thoughts: Neeko The Curious Chamaleon

So the new champion has been released and here is just a concerned player's thought on Neeko's kit.

Okay so first of all I think the concept is fine. Turning into champions is a fun concept that will lead to a lot of exciting and thrilling plays.

But why does this champion have a 3.5 second root? In the reveal it says "pretend to be a blitzcrank or a hook champion so that the enemies will pretend to hide behind minions to not get pulled but surprise they get hit with a MORGANA ROOT. That way as long as you have a hook champion on your team you basically get free kills. YAY. SUCH FUN GAMEPLAY.

This is the same idea with Zoe. Before she was introduced into the game summoner spells were abilities that helped give you the edge in fights. With your knowledge, by no way when using YOUR ignite will you benefit the enemy. But when Zoe was put in the game SCRATCH ALL THAT. You sure you want to flash away? Because Zoe can just take your flash then flash on you with some extra bonus damage by the way.

Change is good. I agree with that. So does my man Kha'Zix. But by changing the fundamental rules of the game like "don't stand infront of minions or you will be hit by a blitzcrank q or a morgana q" it actually punishes you for doing so. This is not right.

And why does she need an AOE nuke??? That's like giving a leblanc an ult where instead of mimicking her abilities she instead gets a moving nunu ultimate. She can just flash in get a kai'sa size shield and a nunu ult full of damage then e out with no repreccussions.

Riot why does every new champion have to have a new mechanic that breaks the game. Why can't we just get a simple champion that doesn't have to make you rethink your life everytime you go in on a low champion. [zombie-brand-mindblown]
