Kassadin doesnt need this buff

when i was playing as Katarina as mid at blinds i faced against kassadin.. for the first few levels i was able to put pressure on lane and cs. But as soon as he hit level 6 and up his r did extensive damage almost to the point where i feel katarina cant even outplayed anymore due to the r cooldown, and also the assasin in the game dont have a value anymore to this game( other than talon and zed since they have some damage to brust at early game) On top of that, the electrocute runes and other runes are getting nerfed making it impossible for the new players. or should i say casual players, like myself are finding it hard to find joy in the champions that we loved. i would like the community's comments at where they stand with this position with the assasins right now. to give more description about myself,, i am a b3 player level 168 and climbing.

I still see assassins do work and the buff to Kassadin was only to his CD at early ranks, not damage. I use the domination page for several of my champs and have no issues with the nerfs to it. Helps to make the game less one shot and gives ppl a chance to possibly survive and regroup. If they stay after being chunked then that's risky and you can probably dive and kill them, if they leave you get a cs lead. Either way, you should be winning even if you didn't get the kill from the initial all in.

thanks for the comment but as you know bronze... let me rephrase it players in lol dont always have that intention nor the gameplay stratagy to devote for a their team to win, this is often seen in normals... so i do think your reason is justiable but the scling on a katarina and a kassadin has been taken to different heights, frankly the items and rune pages are shifting or forcing the magic assasins to go to ad items... dont get me wrong there were some unfair moments where rengar or kha zix one shoted people.. but changing a core item or buffing a champ who can slience, slow, deal bonus dmg in close combat and get out like nothing happed by pressing r which is like 2 or 1.5 isconds at level 8 i believe... so yea thats my response

I mean Kass is one of the best late game champs, and at levels 6-10 it's a 5 second cooldown on his R. At 11-15 it's 3.5 and then 2 seconds at 16 (this is w/o compensating for cdr mind you). So yeah he is gonna scale harder than you, but you are stronger in the early to mid game. When Kat gets her Gunblade that's probably her single biggest powerspike in the whole game. Assuming things are relatively even at this point, you should smash him and anyone else. And as far as AP Assassins having to buy ad is just not true, kat has some ad values, which is why gunblade is good on her as well as her autos. But with something like Leblanc, she still can easily one shot ppl. Obviously this depends on the target and their items, but against your average squishy, whether the assassin is ap or ad, they still do work and can easily get fed.

To be fair, over half of the buffs that riot has done this year didn't need to be there. Kass is probably the weakest early champ in the game, with a strong late game in an unfortunate meta that doesn't see most matches go past 30 mins.
