I've been playing this game since season 3 as a support main, and I have been fooling around with ani support since. Anivia is a really enjoyable support since she is interesting mechanically and you don't have much room for errors. Last season I found myself playing Anivia quite often, since all the other choices seemed boring and League was in the gutter balancewise anway. Then came the nerfs and my winrate took a dive.

Anivia was still playable, but much harder to execute successfully. The final nail in the coffin was the recent lethality buffs. The noble bird lady has always been fragile, even more so now that the damage has creeped up to unbearable levels. I just want to roar the skies as an ice bird and trade with enemies without being blown up to pieces in an instant, yet i'm forced into the role of a hooker (Blitzcrank Thresh )

When will Riot lower the overall damage of the game and allow multiple trades happen before full engages? This would indeed lower the pace of the game, but making it more strategic in the process

ey buddy, riot ain't gonna do shit about the pace and here's why:

its purely speculation but one of the big factors that I believe is Riot's take on the solo queue ≠ LCS. A lot of people (dota players?) are pretty vocal about how fucking boring LCS is to watch where people just farm for ages until some retard inevitably gets caught out and killed which is Dunkey's summary of leagueoflegends. Riot might believe these changes to be benefiicial to speeding up LCS games (faster pace, more excitement, more popularity, more revenue etc.) but they don't as people still play the way they've always played in the LCS and as a result solo queue goes through shitstorm of whackiness.

Actually think next patch is a Giant Damage Scale back

think riot even confirmed it previously on another post some where.. they admit that the damage Creep has gotten out of hand and will be doing a large scale back
