Irritating champ select mechanic

I've been playing off and on for several years now, and this change to champion select where you dodge the game when you have a champ selected but not locked in is the most unnecessary thing I've ever encountered. I have suffered many queue timers just because I'm too indecisive sometimes and want to think about who I play before I lock in, back in the day it'd just lock you in as the champ you had selected. I would be a very happy camper if you considered bringing the old way that it worked or even acknowledged how frustrating this is, thanks.

I agree with how agitating this is, especially since the client itself is so buggy, sometimes there is a 3 second delay from when you lock in the champ of your choice, ive had it before where i have like 1 second left to lock in and i lock in my champ but it doesn't register on time and i get kicked out of the queue.
